Our bags are designed for everyday use, but they are also unique statement pieces that need to be cared for thoughtfully.

Each Cobble Sussex bag is handmade using recycled cotton braided cord with a polyester core, chosen for its soft structure, tactile texture and sculptural shape.

As every piece is made by hand, small variations in shape, tension and finish are part of the making process and make each bag unique.

How to care for your bag

To help your bag keep its shape, avoid overfilling it or carrying very heavy items. The Cove Bag is designed for everyday essentials, but overloading it may affect its structure over time.

When not in use, store your bag in a clean, dry place. We recommend keeping it flat or gently supported, rather than hanging it for long periods.

Cleaning

If your bag needs cleaning, we recommend gently hand washing it when needed.

You can also use a 30°C hand wash programme if required. If machine washing, place the bag inside a mesh laundry bag or pillowcase to help protect it during the wash.

Use a gentle detergent and avoid bleach or harsh cleaning products.

Drying

After washing, gently reshape the bag while it is still damp.

Leave it to air dry flat in its natural shape. Do not tumble dry, as heat may affect the cord, structure and finish of the bag.
